Lakeview

Vibrant urban living with lakefront access, world-class dining, legendary nightlife, and the energy of Wrigleyville—all while maintaining charming tree-lined residential streets.

About Lakeview

Lakeview is one of Chicago's largest and most diverse neighborhoods, offering everything from the electric atmosphere of Wrigleyville around the Cubs' historic ballpark to quiet, tree-lined residential streets. Its prime location along Lake Michigan provides stunning lakefront access and some of the city's best running, biking, and beach experiences.

The neighborhood is actually a collection of distinct sub-neighborhoods: Wrigleyville (centered around Wrigley Field), Boystown (one of the nation's most prominent LGBTQ+ neighborhoods), Southport Corridor (a charming stretch of boutiques and restaurants), and Central Lakeview. Each offers its own character while sharing excellent walkability and transit access.

With three CTA train lines (Red, Brown, and Purple Express) and numerous bus routes, Lakeview offers some of the best public transit in Chicago. Whether you're commuting downtown or exploring other neighborhoods, getting around without a car is easy.
